IAB Tablet Owners Research

 Some interesting new research comes from the Internet Advertising Bureau focusing on tablet users. 

It says they are twice as likely to be engaged with tablet ads that are interactive, although nearly a third of those questioned believed that advertisers were not doing enough to make ads on tablets exciting enough. 

The old rules of advertising still apply - with 95% of respondents saying it's important that ads on tablets are unobtrusive.
